On 21 Apr 1922 when Florence Edna was 21, she married Fred Franklin Barton in Ft. Scott, KS. Born on 10 Mar 1900 in Pawnee, Bourbon Co, KS. Fred Franklin died in Altamont, KS, on 20 Mar 1965; he was 65.

	i.	Galen Ward. Born on 4 Apr 1925 in Columbus, KS. Galen Ward died in Pittsburg, KS, on 23 Jun 1984; he was 59. On 9 May 1953 when Galen Ward was 28, he married Jessie Maxine McRae in Independence, KS. Born on 25 Jul 1917 in Edna, KS.
