On 23 Oct 1884 when Edgar M. was 22, he married Tacy J. Allen in Parke, Indiana. Born on 4 Jul 1863 in Coloma, Parke, Indiana. Tacy J. died in Indianapolis MM, Marion, Indiana, on 13 Aug 1923; she was 60.

They had the following children:

		i.	Etta Laurence. Born on 12 Feb 1886 in Indianapolis MM, Marion, Indiana. Etta Laurence died in Orange, California, on 30 Apr 1967; she was 81. On 5 Sep 1906 when Etta Laurence was 20, she married Frank W. Killen in Marion, Indiana. Born in 1882.
		ii.	Raymond. Born on 13 Nov 1890 in Indianapolis MM, Marion, Indiana. Raymond died in Indianapolis MM, Marion, Indiana, on 29 Apr 1899; he was 8.
		iii.	Robert Marcus. Born in Sep 1898 in Indianapolis MM, Marion, Indiana.
