On 21 Apr 1823 when Simpson was 21, he first married Anna Lamb, daughter of William Lamb, in Jessamie Co, Ky. Born in 1806 in Virginia. Anna died in Bourbon Co, Ks, on 16 Mar 1869; she was 63. Anna died in Bourbon, Kansas, in Mar 1869; she was 63. Buried in Custard Cemetery.

	viii.	Martha Jane. Born in 1843 in Indiana. Martha Jane died in 1865; she was 22. On 28 Jun 1859 when Martha Jane was 16, she married William Walker Donnelson in Bourbon, Kansas.
	ix.	Henry S.. Born on 1 Nov 1847 in Indiana. Henry S. died in Moweagua, Shelby, Illinois, on 19 Sep 1905; he was 57. Henry S. first married Armilda J. in Macon, Illinois. Henry S. second married Catherine. Henry S. third married Almira. On 24 Apr 1888 when Henry S. was 40, he fourth married Margaret Workman in Macon, Illinois.

Simpson second married Anna Nelson. Born in 1807 in Tennessee. Anna died on 16 Mar 1869; she was 62.
